Fighting Lever Action
LAR I is a 1-day class that is perfect for the die-hard lever action aficionado. The perfect balance and excellent handling characteristics of the lever gun make it a great choice for hunter that runs into trouble or simply for those on a limited budget that can’t afford a gun for all occasions. Learn SAFE and proper handling techniques and procedures including the presentation of the weapon, reloads and malfunction clearing and more will be thoroughly covered and you will learn to shoot both quickly and accurately from 5 to 100 yards.
The traditional lever action rifle is not only one of the finest recreational and hunting rifles ever, with its sleek lines and perfect balance, it is a relatively PC, rather non-threatening, highly effective, accurate, urban “assault” rifle.

Equipment Requirements:

Comfortable clothing and shoes.

At least 3 magazines a suitable carrier if applicable. Traditional rifles will need a suitable ammo carrier other than your pockets. This can include sidesaddles, stock cuffs or belt pouches.

At least 200 rounds of commercial, new, jacketed ammunition.

Any lever action rifle of any caliber with any sights with sling.
